Bobolina came from Monte Carlo. She was a housekeeper.
Moreaugarin was a car mechanic. His face was covered in grease. Every day, Moreaugarin said all sorts of nonsense.
Bobolina and Moreaugarin met by chance on the docks in New York.
Bobolina asked Moreaugarin if he wanted a handkerchief.
Moreaugarin was surprised.
“Okay,” he said, “A handkerchief.” Then Moreaugarin said, “Today is the clear sky.”
Bobolina burst out laughing. “So be it, today is the clear sky. On this day it is good to put a beautiful wish in your mind. What nonsense!”
“That is not nonsense,” said Moreaugarin. Then he touched her forehead. “Our minds are magical.”
“Oh! I am trying to understand,” said Bobolina and began to dance. Her handkerchief was white as snow.
The man and the woman danced like leaves in the wind. And, behold the miracle! Her handkerchief began to fly.
Above.
And higher.
